1. Using this website

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BudgetingBud website and your purchase of digital budgeting templates. By using the site or buying a product, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to make a purchase.

2. Customer responsibilities

• Provide an accurate email address so we can deliver your products.
• Keep your download links private and do not share them publicly.
• Use the products lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy.

3. Digital product purchases

All products are digital downloads (spreadsheet files and PDF guides). Prices are shown in US dollars and each purchase is a one-time payment — there are no subscriptions or recurring charges. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. After payment is confirmed, your download links are made available on the order confirmation page.

4. Personal-use license

Unless stated otherwise, each purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only. You may fill in, save, and print the templates for your own budgeting.

5. Intellectual property

All spreadsheets, templates, written content, graphics, and other materials on this site are the original work of BudgetingBud and are protected by copyright. See our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy for details.

6. What you may not do

• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, share, or give away the files or your download links.
• Claim the templates as your own work or use them commercially.
• Upload the files to sharing sites, marketplaces, or AI training datasets.
• Attempt to bypass payment or download controls.

7. Abuse and fraud

We may suspend access, cancel orders, or refuse service where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, chargeback misuse, or violation of these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BudgetingBud is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Disputes and governing law

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally. Governing law and jurisdiction: Colorado, United States. These Terms are governed by Colorado law, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise. Nothing in these Terms removes your rights to protections or access to courts that apply where you live.
